– The Beginning –
A sick child was brought into a local hospital and was examined by the doctors. They decided the child should go to a central state hospital. The parents were not satisfied with this decision and called the police, claiming malpractice.
They also notified the media which raised a panic, causing problems for the staff of the local hospital and other patients.
– The Complications –
The unjustified media pressure was so bad that the head of the hospital published a public letter a few days after the initial report explaning that the staff of the hospital acted in accordance with every regulation and that the media panic is causing problems with other patients.
– The Resolve –
After the public letter everything died out. The media did not apologize for unjustified panic.
